The Daughter Of Norwegian Immigrants To Minnesota, Olive Nordby Has Enjoyed A Long Career As Both Artist And Philanthropist. Her Sensitive Woodcuts Have Gained A Wide Following And National Recognition, Winning Many Awards At Juried Exhibitions. Majoring In Art At St. Olaf College, Nordby Did Post-Graduate Work At The Minneapolis Institute Of Arts And The St. Paul School Of Art, And Studied Printmaking At The Madison Vocational And Technical School In Madison, Wisconsin.
